The Two Orders of Life. (Introduction)

Biblical teaching describes the two orders of life as physical life (the physical order) and spiritual life (the spiritual order). The physical order begins at biological birth and is subject to mortality. The spiritual order, or eternal life, begins with being "born again" through faith in Jesus Christ. These two orders represent a journey. The physical order ends with death, as stated in Ecclesiastes 3:1–2. The spiritual order culminates in eternal life, as noted in Romans 6:22.
