Gal 5:24-26 (TEV)
24 And those who belong to Christ
Jesus have put to death their human nature with all its passions and desires.
25 The Spirit has given us life; he must also control our lives. 26 We must not
be proud or irritate one another or be jealous of one another.
I read these bible verses today from different
version. I felt can this be possible in house of God, that people will not be
proud, irritated and be jealous of each other. I for one am not left out of
these three. I do them whether consciously or unconsciously. The bible specifically
said it in Today’s English Version (TEV) that pride, irritation and jealous
must stop.
What must we do for these three
not to happen in our fellowships?
1.
Put
to death our human nature with all its passion and desires. Gal 5:24
2.
We
must surrender to Spirit because He is the one that gives us life. Gal 5:25
3.
The
Spirit must also control our lives.
4.
We
must obey Gal 5:26 which says, we must not be proud or irritate one another or
be jealous of one another.
